Welcome to the Monroe County Employment Application System Effective January 1, 2025, the Monroe County Human Resources Department has moved to an automated employment application system. All applicants are now required to apply electronically through this system (including those who had applied for positions with the County by a paper application in the past). Before you apply for positions, click on Log In located in the upper right corner of the screen. • If you are applying with us for the first time you will click Create New Account and complete the Enter Account Details section and click Create Account. Complete the Choose Security Questions section and click Create Security Questions. Next you will receive a Verification Code via the email address you entered while entering your Account Details. If you do not receive the Verification Code click Resend Verification Code. Once received, enter the Verification Code and click Verify Email Address. Next click Continue to Employment Opportunities to apply. • If you have an account, enter your Username and Password, then click Log In to access your Profile and Positions Available. • If you are a current employee and want apply for a position click on Log In As Existing Employee to see both external and internal Positions Available. You can click on Register for email alerts in the upper right corner of the screen to receive information on future job opportunities based on the job categories you select. These are general categories that are given to specific jobs openings across the county and are not specific to departments. When a position is posted and you have expressed an interest in the category for that job, you will receive an email notification. You can then return to this site and log into your profile to apply for that position if desired. Before You Begin: 1) Have all additional documents that you want to attach (such as cover letter, resume, references, transcripts, etc.) ready in an electronic format (Word or PDF) 2) DO NOT use "Refresh" or "Back" buttons from your browser while completing the application; only use the application ‘Previous Section’ and ‘Next Section’ buttons 3) The system will check for errors before reviewing the application; errors or missing information will be noted by red ‘Required’ text and boxes Thank you for your interest in employment with Monroe County.
